The Haunted Mansion returns for its 14th season in less than two weeks and, as always, volunteers are needed. The major fundraiser for the Southern Door School District operates every Friday and Saturday during the month of October at the Quietwoods South Camping Resort. Over the past 13 years, nearly $325,000 has been donated to support student groups, clubs and activities related to academics, arts and athletics. Last year, 595 volunteers provided over 9,000 hours of service. Every night, over 100 volunteers are needed. For those interested in volunteering in 2019, an in-person training opportunity will be offered on Sunday, September 29th. Report to the Quietwoods South Camping Resort’s large pavilion at 4:30PM. You’ll participate in the training session and get a sneak-peak at this year’s attraction. Volunteers who are 12 years of age or younger must have an adult volunteer work with them.
