Saturday was the 76th annual Wisconsin Alice in Dairyland finals in Walworth County, and Ashley Hagenow of Poynette, Wisconsin was chosen as the next Alice. Shanty Days Cancelled in Algoma
The Algoma Area chamber of Commerce has announced that summer festivities, including the City Wide Garage Sale, Concerts in the Park, and Shanty Days have been cancelled for 2020. Jacksonport’s Maifest Cancelled
The Jacksonport Advancement Corporation recently announced that this year’s Maifest Celebration has been cancelled due to concerns with the current Coronavirus pandemic. For the last 47 years this festival weekend celebration has often been thought of as Door County’s unofficial summer kick-off event. This year is the first since its creation to see the entire event and all of its activities cancelled.
Fire & Ice Festival Saturday in Sturgeon Bay

Ribbon Cutting for Pebble Beach Property Friday
A ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the acquisition of the Pebble Beach property in Sister Bay will be held on Friday(10/18) at 2:30PM, rain or shine.
