As the deadline to submit signatures to force a recall of two members of the Sevastopol Board of Education approaches, it appears that the effort will not reach its goal. A group upset with the school board’s handling of an administrator indicated on March 11th that they intended to obtain the signatures needed to set up a recall election for board-members Jay Zahn and Jane Luebker. However, at nearly 750 signatures per board-member, the group has apparently indicated that there isn’t enough time to complete their task. However, Board Clerk Lisa Bieri says she will wait until the May 11th deadline before making the official determination.
