Registration for the 10th annual Door County Half Marathon opens Saturday. Named one of the mid-west’s best races by Competitor Magazine and Active.com, runners will enjoy the closed road course at Peninsula State Park as they pass historic landmarks, peaceful forests, and take in dramatic views of Lake Michigan from atop the Niagara Escarpment. Registration fees are $60 through the end of October, but increase incrementally to $80 in March and April. Those participating in the Nicolet Bay 5K pay $35 now, but the cost increases to $40 on January 1st. All half marathon finishers receive a commemorative tenth running shirt and medal, while 5K runners receive a short sleeve shirt. All finishers receive a beer compliments of Door County Brewing Company. Contact Registration Director Jordan Burress at 1-920-421-4680 or email@example.com or visit doorcountyhalfmarathon.com for more information. The Door County Half Marathon takes place on May 6th.
