Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay will be the site of a free educational event Saturday focusing on the value of water. Crossroads’ Director, Coggin Heeringa, says Waterfest is geared toward all age groups…
Waterfest will provide opportunities to hike and bike, learn how to launch a kayak, the process for watering and caring for a young tree, and, will offer music about the great lakes. A wise old owl will also be on hand, as will a group of star-gazers, and a famous professor who will explain the science of water in a fun way…
Waterfest, at Crossroads at Big Creek Saturday, is free and runs from noon to 5PM. While the supply lasts, kids will receive free waterfest t-shirts.
