A program on the development of the Town of Egg Harbor will be presented Monday at 3PM in Egg Harbor’s Kress Pavilion. Sponsored by the Egg Harbor Historical Society, the presentation looks at the development of the Horseshoe Bay shoreline, moves inland to consider the Carlsville-Carmody prairie section of the town, and finishes with the village and points in the northeast corner of the town established in 1861. The presentation on the development of the town follows the first two Egg Harbor programs that considered 36 early Door County shoreline settlements and 17 inland settlements.
