A candidate forum for individuals running for seats on the Sturgeon Bay City Council will be held Monday night in the city council chambers at city hall, beginning at 6:30PM. The forum, sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Door County, provides the opportunity for voters to become acquainted with the candidates and select those best suited for the position.

Former aldermen Bob Starr and John Lodl and David Hayes
In District 4
Incumbent Rick Wiesner and challenger Kelly Avenson
In District 6
Lauri Fish, Seth Wiederanders and incumbent Stew Fett.
The forum is not a debate, but consists of anonymously written questions provided by the audience. Each candidate is given an equal opportunity to present positions and views to the public. The forum will be videotaped and aired on public access channels in Sturgeon Bay, will be available at the Sturgeon Bay Library, and on the League of Women Voters website www.leagueofwomenvotersdoorcounty.org
