The completion of a new home built by students in Sturgeon Bay was celebrated with a dedication ceremony last week. The single story, 1,825 square foot ranch style home was sponsored by the Door County Economic Development Corporation in partnership with the Door County Home Builders Association and the Sturgeon Bay and Sevastopol School Districts. It was the tenth home constructed by students over a 12-year period. The project’s completion also signaled the end of the student builders program, at least for the time being.
