A Southern Door High School sophomore had the experience of a lifetime recently, when she was selected to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Dalena Pakalske performed with the 2020 High School Honors Performance Series on February 2nd. Pakalske auditioned during the summer of 2019 and was selected as one of the highest rated high school performers. Pakalske was joined by performers from 47 states, Guam, Canada, Bermuda, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, Qatar, and South Korea. Six Hundred students were selected out of more than 18,000 nominations.
