The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction recently released statewide scorecard results for the 2015/16 school year. The Sevastopol School District realized a score of 90.6 within an 83 to 100 accountability rating to receive the designation, “Significantly Exceeding Expectations.” Districts receiving this rating score highly in the areas of student achievement, student growth, educational equity, and preparing students for educational milestones, including college and career readiness. Middle and high school Principal Adam Baier says the recognition is testament to the great work being done by teachers and staff, as well as their commitment to students. Baier noted that being named one of the top ten highest achieving districts out of 424 school districts in Wisconsin is remarkable. Only two traditional 4K-12 schools scored higher in the overall rating.
