Call them hot cakes, pancakes or flapjacks, call them what you will. There will be more than enough to go around when the pancake breakfast and open house is held Saturday morning at the truck bay of the east side fire station in Sturgeon Bay. The all-you-can-eat meal features pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, Door County cherries, whipped cream, and milk, coffee and juice. The breakfast costs $8 for those five years of age and older. Visitors to the fire station will be able to check out the equipment and vehicles used by Sturgeon Bay fire crews. The pancake breakfast and open house at the east side fire station runs from 7 to 11AM at 421 Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay Saturday.
