A primary election will be held on February 20th to narrow down the candidates for two seats on the Kewaunee County Board. There are three people running for the seat in District 2 in the Town of Lincoln, Cory Cochart, Joseph Musial, & Mark Kusniesz. In District 10 in the Town of Carlton, the candidates are Duane Duecat, John Wochos, & Thomas Cretney.
The seat in District 5 in Luxemburg is vacant, which means a write in candidate could win the seat in the general election on April 3rd.
Overall thirty residents have filed nomination papers for twenty seats. Fifteen are incumbents, ten of which are running for re-election unopposed.
