A grand celebration to recognize the completion of the downtown branch of Nicolet National Bank in Sturgeon Bay attracted a large crowd to the parking lot of the previous bank building Tuesday. Many of those people stayed for the ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of the new facility. The bank’s Jamie Alberts acted as master of ceremonies for the short ceremony, thanking the numerous firms, organizations, groups and individuals who made the project possible. Father Tony Birdsall provided the prayer and blessing and a male quartet from Southern Door School performed the national anthem. The event also included food, beverages, sundaes and children’s activities.
