New Construction at Sevastopol School Will Pay Tribute to Past

As the Sevastopol School District gets ready for a complete makeover of its facility in Institute, the work is being done with the realization that the two oldest sections of the school building will be razed. Superintendent Kyle Luedtke says, while the additions from 1924 and 1946 will be dismantled, the new school that rises from the demolition will pay tribute to the past…

Luedtke says the general public will have ample opportunity to tour the physical plant before and after the construction project is completed…

The Sevastopol School District hopes to break ground for the project as soon as possible in the spring. Voters in the district gave the go-ahead to launch the 25 million dollar upgrade during a referendum in November of 2018.
