Jacksonport Thanksgiving Day Parade Celebrating 21 Years

The annual Thanksgiving Day Parade in Jacksonport will be celebrated for the 21st consecutive year on the quiet side of the peninsula. Jorna Taylor explains why the event was started all those years ago…

Taylor says each year proceeds from the parade are earmarked for charitable purposes. This time, some of the funds will be used to help a family that has been impacted by ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease…

Raffle tickets for Door County weekend packages will be sold through the parade for $5 each or five for $20. Parade participants are asked to meet at the fire station in Jacksonport on Thanksgiving Day by 9:45AM. The parade begins at 10:30AM.
