Ghost Ship One Way the Coast Guard Gives Back

For close to 20 years, crews of the US Coast Guard Cutter Mobile Bay have engaged in a community service project around Halloween by creating a ghost ship for community members. The scary vessel, moored on Sturgeon Bay’s west side waterfront, returns Saturday evening. Lieutenant Andrew Dahm says the ghost ship reflects the unique relationship the Coast Guard has with the Sturgeon Bay community…

Lieutenant Dahm says, besides a tour of the ship, young participants will receive a gift from the crew…

The “ghost ship” experience is free and runs from 5:30 to 9:30PM Saturday evening in Sturgeon Bay. Canned food donations are encouraged.
