It’s hard to believe, but the Door County Fair is upon us and John Miles County Park in Sturgeon Bay is expected to be a very busy place through Sunday. Wednesday traditionally kicks off the annual event with “midway fun night.” Admission is $10 for those who want try the rides. Those who don’t care for rides get in for $5. The tip top shows will operate from 5-11PM. At 6:30PM, there will be stock car races. A separate charge gets you a seat in the grandstand. At 7:30PM, Vic Ferrari performs at the Coors Light Midway Music Stage. Thursday will be entry day, as thousands of individual entries are tagged and entered. Judging takes place Friday and Saturday and the fair closes Sunday with the demolition derby.
