Students from two Door County school districts are participating in the annual DARE program taught by Door County Sheriff’s Department Juvenile Investigator Chris Neuville. Neuville says the program, which used to focus on drug abuse resistance education, has been expanded to consider ways for young people to make good choices…
While drugs aren’t the total focus of the program these days, Neuville says students need to learn the consequences of being a part of the drug culture…
Neuville says the DARE course is intended to bring young people together in order to understand the things they have in common. He says an example of a way to do that is a Milwaukee Brewers game that about 40 of his students will attend in April.
