The slate of candidates for the spring election for Sturgeon Bay Alderman in the first district has been set. Challenger Kelly Catarozoli and incumbant Dan Wiegand will square off on April 5th for the right to be one of seven members of the city council. Catarozoli led all three candidates in primary balloting Tuesday with 53 votes, followed by Wiegand with 40. Gerald Pelrine finished in third place with 31 votes. The top two vote-getters will now have about five weeks to persuade the district’s more than 600 registered voters that, when it comes to voting, they’re the the best option for the aldermanic job.
