Sturgeon Bay Mayor Thad Birmingham appears to have won a very close race for re-election over challenger Laurel Brooks. The unofficial results show Birmingham with 1,894 votes to 1,842 for Brooks.
Sturgeon Bay City Council
In races for city council seats in Sturgeon Bay it was Ron Vandertie defeating challenger Kelly Avenson 374 to 248 in District 2. In District 4, Richard Wiesner tallied 311 votes against a write in challenge by Scott Roberts, write in votes totaled 41 votes in the district, and, incumbent Stewart Fett over Tom Benzshawel 251 votes to 184 in District 6.
