The Village of Egg Harbor will celebrate Independence Day, in part, on Friday. At 4PM, the Modern Day Drifters kick off the holiday weekend with music from 5-9PM in Harbor View Park. Starting at 4PM, great food from local restaurants will be available for purchase in the park. Then, at dusk (about 9:30PM), some of the best fireworks in Door County will close down the day’s activities. The annual 4th of July parade in Egg Harbor will be held Saturday afternoon. The traditional holiday parade runs south on Highway 42 from Church Street to Harbor School Road. Lineup is at 12:30PM. After the parade, head down to Harbor View Park and catch “the 5th Quarter” with the University of Wisconsin marching band.
