The Door County Visitor Bureau has announced the release of its newest “Capture Door County” fine art photography book, “Seasons Behind the Door.” This 144 page book features over 230 beautiful photographs of Door County. The hard-bound coffee table book is the result of the popular “Capture Door County” photo contest, started by the Door County tourism organization in January of 2013. More than 24,000 photos have been submitted to the “Capture Door County” program since it began more than three years ago. From those images, contest users voted for their top choices and the most popular images ultimately made it into the book. The keepsake “Seasons Behind the Door” photo book is available for sale at capturedoorcounty.com and can be purchased at the Door County Visitor Bureau Welcome Center, 1015 Green Bay Road, Sturgeon Bay. The first book released by the county tourism agency sold 2,500 copies.
