Two Algoma Men Arrested in Connection With Area Burglaries

Two Algoma men, ages 18 and 19 have been taken into custody for their alleged involvement in multiple burglaries, including the Subway restaurant in Algoma, a Marathon gas station in Sturgeon Bay, and the Wave Pointe Resort in southern Door County. Authorities executed a search warrant Tuesday morning at a residence in Algoma where the suspects were taken into custody. Cash, clothing and other items were taken as evidence linking the suspects to the crimes. The two men face multiple charges of burglary in both Door and Kewaunee Counties. The investigation included officers and investigators from the City of Algoma Police Department, Sturgeon Bay Police Department, Door County Sheriff’s Department, and the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department.
