TTX & Peninsula Publishing Honored by DCEDC

The Door County Economic Development Corporation recognized two special Door County operations at its annual investors meeting on Thursday. Therma-Tron-X was named the Industry of the Year, and Peninsula Publishing & Distribution owners David Elliot and Madeline Harrison were named entrepreneurs of the year.

The Industry of the Year Award recognizes a local construction, service, or manufacturing business that has made a substantial impact on the community and enjoyed significant accomplishments during the past year. The Entrepreneur of the Year Award highlights the owners of a small business started in Door County which has shown growth and success.

Therma-Tron-X was founded in 1969 and moved to Door County in 1976. They are specialists in the design, fabrication, and installation of world class custom paint finishing systems for industrial clients. It is the 43rd year the Manufacturer of the Year Award has been presented.

Peninsula Publishing & Distribution encompasses the Peninsula Pulse Newspaper, Door County Living Magazine, Paper Boy Distribution, & Peninsula Filmworks.

The Door County Economic Development Corporation has offices at 185 East Oak Street, in Sturgeon Bay’s Industrial Park.
