The Sturgeon Bay City Council Tuesday gave its blessing to plans related to a 34-unit townhouse development to be constructed in the “Amity Field,” near Sunset School. The two and three bedroom floor plans with detached garages are expected to range from about $700 to $950 dollars per month, depending on the number of bedrooms involved. The project is expected to generate about $18,000 in annual property taxes to the city. In addition, a park and playground fee of $10,200 will be collected. Approval of the project was recommended by the city plan commission.
