A ribbon cutting ceremony & grand opening was held in Algoma Friday morning at the Algoma Library Friends new used book store, The Book Corner. The store is located at the corner of 3rd & State Streets in downtown Algoma. It will be open Fridays & Saturdays from 11AM to 3PM, & Sundays from 10AM to 2PM. The store is completely volunteer run and all funds raised will provide support for the Algoma Public Library’s programs & offerings. Anyone interested in volunteering to help staff The Book Corner is invited to sign up at the Algoma Public Library or stop in at the new store.
