Sturgeon Bay Police arrested a 30-year old city man early Saturday morning in connection with the report of a break-in at a west side home. Officers were alerted to a burglary in progress at 2:47AM. When they arrived at the scene, they found the homeowner with the suspect in a nearby parking lot. Officers were told that the man had opened the garage at the residence on Maple Street and taken an all-terrain vehicle. During the incident, the garage door was damaged when the ATV operated by the suspect collided with it. The Sturgeon Bay man was arrested and taken to the Door County jail. He faces multiple charges, including burglary.
