Voting is underway in “The Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin” contest at www.madeinwis.com.
Included in the more than 100 nominees is the M/V Mark W. Barker, a 639 foot long freighter, built at Sturgeon Bay’s Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding. The barker is the first great lakes freighter built in nearly forty years.
The first round of voting runs through September 27th & will determine which of the many nominees will advance to the top 16 in the contest.
The Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest is coordinated by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, along with Johnson Financial Group & the state chamber & manufacturers association, highlighting the diverse & expanding manufacturing industry in Wisconsin.
