The drive is officially called Stamp Out Hunger, and was held across the entire nation. The Door County total of 24,000 pounds is 2,000 more than last year. The food collected will help to stock the shelves at Door County Feed My People, Lakeshore CAP, Door of Life, and the Washington Island food pantries. The drive was held on Saturday, May 9th with all of the post offices in Door County participating.
