Judging from its exterior, the makeover of the old highway shop off North 14th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay is moving along at a good clip and it won’t be long before the Door County Senior Center, the ADRC and the central ambulance garage will be operating out of the upgraded facility. County Administrator Ken Pabich says the multi-million dollar project is working out very well…
Pabich explains where the senior center will be located in the building…
To give you a sense of the space created for the senior center, the current building could be put in the program’s newly created dining area. Once the move has been made, the old senior center building will be torn down. As for the Emergency Services component, those personnel will be housed in an addition on the north side of the building. Door County Administrator Ken Pabich joined Eddy Allen for the WDOR Talk Show Friday.
