The search continues for a 38 year old Kewaunee man that was reported missing Wednesday night. Mark Wautelet of Kewaunee left the Kewaunee harbor on his boat to go fishing Wednesday evening. He was reported missing at 10:49PM. The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department, Kewaunee Police, & US Coast Guard began their search immediately. The coast guard brought in their helicopter and found the boat, but Wautlet was not on board or near the craft.
The coast guard suspended the search on Thursday evening. Units had searched 425 square miles over 20 hours.
