How would you like to adopt a flower pot in Sturgeon Bay? The Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center says a number of the planters are available throughout the city. By adopting a flower pot, individuals elect to purchase and plant flowers in a sidewalk planter and, in doing so, will be contributing to the overall beautification of Sturgeon Bay. Flower pots may be adopted as a great family activity or in memory or honor of a loved one. General care and maintenance after planting is completed will be handled by the City of Sturgeon Bay. In addition, the Sturgeon Bay Garden Club will tour the city and judge flower pots after they have been planted. Awards will be presented for first, second, third place and honorable mention.
