Sturgeon Bay Utilities reported a significant water leak that was discovered on Wednesday evening. It apparently was caused by shifting ground under the street, probably due to freezing. It was in a connecting main, between two regular water mains. A valve was closed to get at the problem, the street was then dug up and the main was repaired. The crew finished the job at about 1:30 Thursday afternoon.
