SBPD Seeking Public Input After Gas Station Burglary

Public input is being sought by the Sturgeon Bay Police Department in connection with the report of the burglary to a west side business Tuesday. At 4:25AM, officers were dispatched to the Marathon gas station where they found that the front door had been smashed by an intruder. It was determined that a money box and cigarettes were missing. Authorities continue to study video of the break-in as part of their overall investigation. Anyone with information on the burglary or who knows of someone who suspiciously came into a large amount of money and cigarettes is asked to contact the Sturgeon Bay Police Department at 743-2450. A caller can remain anonymous. Cash awards are available for those whose information leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.
