The death of a 32-year old Door County man, under investigation by the Sturgeon Bay Police Department, is being listed as suspicious in nature. The man was dead when he was found in a vehicle off the Ahnapee Trail by an officer on patrol on November 27th. A gun was recovered in the vehicle. An autopsy has been completed and the vehicle has been sent to the state crime lab in Madison. Local authorities have also received support from state investigators. However, more investigative work is needed before any conclusions are presented.
