SBFD Responds to Cut Gas Line Thursday

Six firefighters and four units of the Sturgeon Bay Fire Department were paged out shortly before noon Thursday after a two-inch natural gas line was severed near 922 South Duluth Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. A crew from TAK Communications of De Pere was in the process of digging bore holes when the line was cut. Wisconsin Public Service was contacted and shut off the main.
