Six firefighters and four units of the Sturgeon Bay Fire Department were paged out shortly before noon Thursday after a two-inch natural gas line was severed near 922 South Duluth Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. A crew from TAK Communications of De Pere was in the process of digging bore holes when the line was cut. Wisconsin Public Service was contacted and shut off the main. The fire department then checked homes in the area to ensure that the gas had dissipated. Firefighters cleared the scene at
