Mike Schell, Utilities Director for the Village of Sister Bay, has announced that utilities work crossing Highway 57 for the Stony Ridge Project is scheduled to start Tuesday morning at 7AM. Schell says work crews have determined that they will need full closure of the road to make the connection. With that in mind, the detour for northbound traffic will be Country Lane to Highway 42. The southbound traffic will be routed to Highway 42 to Country Lane to Highway 57. Other notes related to the project…
-Signage will be placed along the detour route
-Blasting at a depth of 16 feet will be needed to make the connection
-The project should take a week to complete. Every effort will be made to get the job done in less time, if possible.
