The Highway 42 road project in Sister Bay continues this week in the area of Country Walk Drive to Scandia Road. This week the contractor plans to complete installation of underground utilities on Highway 57 and Gateway Drive including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and, water main pipe. The detour for Highway 57 takes drivers to Country Walk Drive and then to Highway 42. Highway 57 is expected to be detoured for both northbound and southbound traffic through September 3rd. The $5.8 million road makeover itself has a completion date of June 2016.
