The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced that work on Highway 42 in Sister Bay will begin on Tuesday. As part of the construction project, two Highway 42 detours will be in place. One of the detours will only be set up during weekdays. The other is a full closure, with both detours ongoing until October 8th. -The detour is Highway 42 to Country Walk Drive to Highway 57 to Highway 42.
-Access to businesses will be maintained.
-Closures of Highway 42, on a block by block basis, between Maple Drive and Scandia Road, from Sundays at 8PM through Fridays at noon(Sept 8th to Oct 8th).
-The detour on weekdays is Highway 42 to Maple Drive/County ZZ to Woodcrest Road to Scandia Road to Highway 42.
-Highway 42 will be open to traffic on weekends and access to business will also be maintained.
