Ridges Sanctuary to Open New Nature Center Saturday

After years of discussion, careful planning and a major fundraiser, the Ridges Sanctuary’s Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center will be open to the public Saturday. The facility and its nature shop, located at the north end of downtown Baileys Harbor, will be open daily from 9AM to 6PM. The business office housed at the center is open Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5PM, you can sign up for guided sanctuary hikes at the front desk, and, a $5 pass includes access to hidden brook, the sanctuary, the family discovery trail, and, Logan Creek. Members and those under 18 years of age hike for free. The Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center in Baileys Harbor offers an opportunity to experience the best of the old with a touch of the new.
