The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has scheduled a public involvement meeting to discuss proposed work on Highway 42, from the Door/Kewaunee County line to the south junction of Highway 57 in Door County, for Wednesday at the Forestville Town Hall.
The meeting, which runs from 5 to 6:30PM, features a brief presentation, followed by an open house format. Project improvements include milling and resurfacing of the roadway, various spot grading and drainage improvements, replacement of culvert pipes and storm sewer repairs, and installation of beam guard. Construction is tentatively scheduled for the summer of 2020. The DOT Project Manager is Jeremy Ashauer.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend the meeting to hear about project details, review project displays and provide comment on the proposed improvements. Department of Transportation staff will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
