The environmental work of a group of farmers called “Peninsula Pride Farms,” will be showcased Wednesday evening during a special program in the Collins Learning Center at Crossroads at Big Creek. The presentation at 7PM features farmer and veterinarian Don Niles. Peninsula Pride Farms is a farmer-led environmental stewardship initiative. The group includes 41 farms in Kewaunee and southern Door Counties, including large dairies, traditional dairies, and, crop farms. It believes that the peninsula can have both clean, safe water and a vibrant dairy community. Following the program with Doctor Niles, there will be time for questions and answers.
