Pabich Selected as New Door County Administrator

The Door County Board put its official stamp of approval on the hiring of Ken Pabich as the next Door County Administrator during its regular meeting Tuesday morning. The 45-year old Pabich, who is currently the Development Director for the City of De Pere, was the unanimous choice of the County Board’s Administrative Committee during its meeting last week. On August 1st, he will take over the position from County Corporation Counsel Grant Thomas, who has handled the duties on an interim basis since Maureen Murphy resigned last November after two years on the job. Pabich told WDOR News that he has always wanted to make Door County his home…

Pabich, who has been working for the City of De Pere for eight years and held a position with Calumet County prior to that, talked about short-term plans for his new assignment…

He will be paid $108,000 annually. Door County has had a County Administrator in place since 1999. Before that, then County Clerk Nancy Bemmann acted as an Administrative Coordinator.
