Opposition to UW-Extension Reorganization Mounting

Wisconsin residents, especially those in rural areas, are beginning to push back in connection with proposed plans to change the way UW Extension programs are provided, especially in rural areas. The extension says the changes are needed because of a multi-million dollar shortfall in its budget. The Door County Board is expected to approve a resolution during its regular meeting on Tuesday in opposition to the extension plans as they are currently configured.
