The most successful fundraising campaign in the history of the United Way of Door County was completed on January seventh. Amy Kohnle, Executive Director of the local organization, says just over $564,000 was donated or pledged, less than $11,000 short of the goal. Kohnle says more than 1,300 supporters, including 100 new donors, and special fundraising events scheduled throughout the year provided the resources that made for a record-breaking campaign.
