Mayor Thad Birmingham announced Tuesday that the Park and Recreation Committee, the Plan Commission, and, the Waterfront Redevelopment Authority will meet in joint session on Wednesday, March 24th to began a study of the city’s west waterfront redevelopment plan. The first session will begin at 6PM in the commons at Sturgeon Bay High School. Aside from its own input, the “super group” is expected to tap into the ideas of the public in the hopes of coming up with a plan that reflects the perceptions of a wide variety of stakeholders. The plan is to meet again to review findings and fashion a viable plan for the west side waterfront public areas.
