Ministry Door County Medical Center and Lake Side Surgical Associates have announced that the hospital based in Sturgeon Bay will acquire the surgical center, effective January 1st. The surgical practice, its location at 1843 Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay and its services, surgeons and staff will remain unchanged, providing a seamless transition for patients. Lake Side Surgical Associates has provided surgical care to the community since 1975 and the organization has collaborated with the medical center to ensure that general surgical call services were available around the clock. Gerald Worrick, President and CEO at the medical center said the merger will ensure that the community will continue to have access to quality surgical care, on any day at any time.
