Marine Restrictions Going into Place for Bridge Project

Marine traffic restrictions related to the Bayview Bridge rehabilitation project in Sturgeon Bay are expected to be in place from Monday, May 2nd through June 30th. During that time, the lift spans on the bridge will be closed and locked in the down position for construction. Boaters will only be allowed under one half of the lift span and will be restricted in height. Operators will not have the ability to open the bridge during the time frame. Again, vertical clearance underneath the bridge will be restricted during construction operations.
