A crew of law enforcement and emergency services personnel were mobilized Sunday afternoon to search for an individual who walked away from a group home in Carlsville. The man, said to have developmental disabilities with behavioral issues, stormed out of the home at about 3PM after a disagreement and was last seen entering the woods nearby. An initial search by family members was conducted with negative results. Door County Deputy Greg Medlin arrived and also was unable to find the missing man who was unfamiliar with the area. Medlen contacted the Egg Harbor Fire Department which called in additional units and the missing man was eventually located and returned to the home. The man was apologetic for his actions and indicated that there would be no further problems. The search units left about three hours after the initial call came in at 3:06PM.
