The next director for Door County Emergency Services will come from within the department. Deputy Director Aaron LeClair has been tabbed for the position. Currently, LeClair holds the title Interim Director, but his full elevation is expected to be supported by the full county board. For more than a year, consultant Jeff Roemer has held the Interim Director’s position, with LeClair as his right hand man, coordinating ambulance services. Previously, Dan Williams was the director. A paramedic, Aaron LeClair has been a member of the Emergency Services Department for ten years. The decision to name him department director was endorsed by the county’s emergency services committee Monday.
